Samoa Cricket for the second time play host to the Exotic 60 years and overs Tour tournament that commenced in August 2023. The organizers of the tournament had selected Samoa for the second time because of the playing venue and the weather.

The first time Samoa hosted this tournament was back in 2016. There were over 200 people traveled from Australia to participate in the tournament. From there the organizing committee from Australia was satisfied and opted to return the tournament to play in Samoa in 2019. However, the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled travelling and postponed the tournament to 2023.

The Over 60’s tournament is significant because of the opportunity for our local players to learn from the more advanced cricketers to enhance their playing capacity and also benefit the country through tourism.
